These Official Rules (“Rules”) govern participation in all Soda Hunt™ treasure hunts (“Hunts”). By registering for or participating in any Hunt, all participants (“Hunters”) agree to these Rules.

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to join any Hunt or qualify for prize opportunities unless otherwise permitted by law.

1.2. No purchase is necessary to participate or win.

1.3. Employees, owners, contractors, and immediate family members of participating businesses may participate in Hunts but may not be eligible for certain prize opportunities.

1.4. Hunts are void where prohibited by law.

1.5. Participation in Soda Hunt does not guarantee prizes, winnings, rewards, discounts, compensation, or promotional benefits of any kind.

1.6. Soda Hunt is an independent promotional platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, or related entities.

2. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

To participate, Hunters must complete registration at SodaHunt.com or through an official Soda Hunt registration link or QR code.

2.1. Required registration information may include:

• valid email address;
• valid mobile phone number capable of receiving SMS messages;
• valid PayPal or Venmo account information for prize delivery where applicable;
• acceptance of these Official Rules;
• and consent to receive Hunt-related communications.

2.2. Hunters may be required to verify identity, contact information, or payment accounts before receiving prizes.

2.3. Only one account per person is permitted unless otherwise authorized by Soda Hunt.

2.4. Duplicate, fraudulent, or suspicious accounts may be removed at Soda Hunt’s sole discretion.

3. HOW HUNTS WORK

3.1. Each Hunt contains participating businesses or locations (“Stops”).

3.2. Hunters must physically visit participating Stops and scan official Soda Hunt QR codes or badges to register participation.

3.3. Valid scans may:

• mark a Stop as completed;
• unlock promotional offers;
• provide entries into prize opportunities;
• or contribute toward Hunt completion.

3.4. Progress is tracked through Soda Hunt systems and technologies.

3.5. A Stop is considered valid only when the scan is successfully verified through Soda Hunt systems.

3.6. GPS screenshots, duplicate scans, screenshots of QR codes, spoofing methods, or manual claims may not substitute for valid official scans.

3.7. Scanning a QR code, visiting a participating location, engaging with a business, or making a purchase does not guarantee prize selection, winnings, rewards, or future promotional opportunities.

3.8. Soda Hunt reserves the right to investigate suspicious participation activity and invalidate scans determined to be fraudulent, manipulated, duplicated, automated, or inconsistent with normal participation behavior.

4. COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

4.1. A Hunt is considered complete only when all required Stops are successfully scanned and verified during the official campaign period.

4.2. Completing a Hunt may provide:

• completion badges;
• prize entries;
• access to additional Hunts;
• eligibility for premium experiences;
• or additional promotional opportunities.

4.3. Some Hunts may include optional bonus Stops that provide additional entries or promotional opportunities.

5. OFFERS

5.1. Participating businesses may provide Hunt-exclusive offers accessible through valid QR scans.

5.2. Offers are subject to each participating business’s own policies, terms, limitations, inventory, and expiration dates.

5.3. Offers may not be transferred, exchanged, redeemed for cash, or combined unless explicitly stated.

5.4. Participating businesses may modify, suspend, limit, substitute, or discontinue offers at any time due to inventory shortages, staffing limitations, operational restrictions, legal requirements, or other circumstances.

5.5. Soda Hunt is not responsible for unavailable, modified, expired, denied, substituted, delayed, or discontinued offers provided by participating businesses.

5.6. Offers hold no cash value unless explicitly stated otherwise by the participating business.

6. PRIZES

6.1 Surprise Cash Drops

(a) Eligible scans may provide entries into random instant award drawings (“Surprise Cash Drops”).

(b) Winners may be notified instantly through the Platform, SMS, email, or future app notifications.

(c) Prize amounts, prize frequency, and availability vary by campaign.

(d) Cash prizes may be issued through PayPal, Venmo, or other approved methods determined by Soda Hunt.

(e) Invalid or unverifiable payment accounts may result in prize forfeiture.

6.2 Completion Prize Pools

(a) Completing Hunts may provide entries into associated Prize Pools.

(b) Prize types may include:

• cash;
• gift cards;
• merchandise;
• sponsor-provided products;
• local experiences;
• promotional items;
• or other rewards.

(c) Prize drawings occur as communicated by Soda Hunt.

6.3 Grand Prizes

(a) Completing multiple Hunts may provide entry into larger Grand Prize drawings.

(b) Grand Prizes may include cash awards, local experiences, promotional merchandise, sponsor items, travel-related experiences, or other promotional packages.

(c) Winners may be required to verify identity and eligibility before receiving prizes.

6.4 Prize Conditions

• Prizes are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
• Winners may be required to provide valid identification.
• Winners are responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes.
• Prizes that cannot be delivered due to incorrect or invalid information may be forfeited.

6.5. Odds of winning vary based on participation levels, eligibility, campaign duration, and the number of qualifying entries received.

6.6. Soda Hunt reserves the right to modify, substitute, delay, suspend, or cancel prizes, prize structures, prize pools, or giveaways at any time without prior notice.

6.7. Prize values, quantities, and availability may vary by Hunt, location, sponsor participation, or campaign period.

6.8. Hunters are solely responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations associated with prizes received.

6.9. Soda Hunt may require identity verification, eligibility confirmation, or additional documentation prior to prize fulfillment.

7. CONDUCT

7.1. Hunters must behave respectfully toward participating businesses, employees, customers, and other participants.

7.2. Hunters may not tamper with, damage, relocate, duplicate, or remove QR codes.

7.3. Harassing, threatening, disruptive, fraudulent, or abusive behavior may result in immediate removal.

7.4. Soda Hunt reserves the right to remove any participant violating these Rules.

8. SAFETY

8.1. Hunters participate voluntarily and at their own risk.

8.2. Hunters must follow all pedestrian, traffic, venue, and public safety laws and guidelines.

8.3. Soda Hunt is not responsible for injuries, theft, property damage, transportation issues, or personal losses incurred during participation.

8.4. Hunters are responsible for their own transportation, decision-making, and personal safety.

8.5. Soda Hunt is not responsible for incidents involving participating businesses, including food safety issues, crowd conditions, parking disputes, business closures, staffing interruptions, or operational issues.

9. PROHIBITED ACTIONS & FRAUD PREVENTION

9.1. The following are strictly prohibited:

• sharing QR codes or screenshots;
• location spoofing;
• automated participation;
• scanning outside official business premises;
• creating duplicate accounts;
• manipulating prize systems;
• fraudulent participation behavior;
• impersonation;
• or technical exploitation.

9.2. Violations may result in:

• removal from Hunts;
• forfeiture of prizes;
• account suspension;
• permanent bans;
• or legal action.

9.3. Soda Hunt reserves the right to suspend, terminate, restrict, or permanently ban any Hunter account suspected of fraudulent activity, abuse, misconduct, technical exploitation, harassment, or violations of these Rules.

9.4. QR codes, campaign mechanics, prize structures, and promotional systems may be modified during campaign periods to improve security, fairness, and operational performance.

10. PRIVACY & COMMUNICATIONS

10.1. Information collected may be used for:

• Hunt administration;
• campaign analytics;
• account verification;
• prize fulfillment;
• customer engagement;
• communications;
• promotional outreach;
• and future platform development.

10.2. Hunters acknowledge and agree that registration information, participation activity, engagement data, and contact information may be shared with participating businesses, sponsors, campaign partners, and affiliated promotional entities for marketing, analytics, customer engagement, and follow-up communications.

10.3. Soda Hunt does not sell personal information through traditional third-party data broker arrangements.

10.4. By participating, Hunters consent to receive SMS messages, email communications, promotional notifications, reminders, and future app or platform notifications from Soda Hunt and participating businesses.

10.5. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

10.6. Hunters may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or replying STOP to SMS communications.

10.7. Failure to receive notifications due to spam filters, blocked messages, technical interruptions, carrier limitations, or incorrect contact information does not constitute grounds for appeal or prize replacement.

11. MODIFICATIONS & TERMINATION

11.1. Soda Hunt reserves the right to modify, suspend, pause, delay, cancel, or terminate Hunts at any time.

11.2. Updated Rules become effective immediately upon posting.

11.3. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Rules.

11.4. Soda Hunt is an evolving promotional platform currently operating primarily as a web-based experience. Features, functionality, campaigns, participation mechanics, prize structures, and promotional systems may change, evolve, improve, or be modified at any time.

11.5. Soda Hunt shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, modifications, failures, or cancellations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including weather events, internet outages, server failures, labor shortages, public emergencies, travel disruptions, governmental actions, or large-scale event interruptions.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, Hunters agree that Soda Hunt, its owners, affiliates, partners, sponsors, participating businesses, contractors, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for:

• technical failures or QR issues;
• delayed or failed notifications;
• prize delivery interruptions;
• business disputes;
• expired or denied offers;
• inventory shortages;
• staffing limitations;
• injuries or property damage;
• transportation costs or disruptions;
• theft or personal losses;
• internet outages;
• communication failures;
• force majeure events;
• or dissatisfaction related to participation or business experiences.

Participation in Soda Hunt is voluntary and entirely at the participant’s own risk.
